What is it like to live in Badalona? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is a cheap city and very close to the city of Barcelona. It is a coastal city with pretty beaches and big mountains for walking.
What is the student lifestyle like in Badalona?
There is not much of a student atmosphere, as there is no university. However, there are quite a few libraries.
How much does it cost to live in Badalona?
For around 400€ you can rent a flat with one or two rooms. The cheapest areas are the San Roque neighbourhood, La Salut, and the most expensive ones are the centre of Badalona or Montigalà.
Was it difficult to find accommodation? Can you give any advice?
Almost all of Badalona is well connected, there is a metro, buses and a train, so there is nowhere in particular to recommend.
How is the food in the country? What are your favourite dishes?
There is a lot of tapas eating. There is a bar in the Lloreda neighbourhood called La Cepa del Bierzo and they make delicious 'bravas'.
Which places would you recommend visiting in Badalona?
Badalona port is very pretty, the Santa Maria church and the old town are worth a visit, and there is the Roman museum or the walks on Montigalá mountain.

It is a city which is well connected to Barcelona, and more quiet.
