I would recommend living in Arnhem, because it is a city with a lot of history and nature, which I personally enjoy a lot

There are a lot of international students in Arnhem and the campus is really awesome.

How much does it cost to live in Arnhem?

Rent is between 300 and 550 for a normal appartement/room. A beer is around €3.50

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Arnhem? Is there any advice you can give?

It depends, don’t be shy to call/mail someone and try to find an appartement asap.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We don’t really have a special gastronomy, we have a lot of different kitchens in the city with good vegan options

What places would you recommend visiting in Arnhem?

Sonsbeek park, het openluchtmuseum en de rijnkade

Is it good to eat out in Arnhem? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, I love ichiba (sushi), stan&co, Dadawan

Is the nightlife good in Arnhem? Where is good to go?

Lately there are a lot of fights during the parties, so I recommend going on a thursday instead of the weekend. I personally enjoy going to bar xo

What advice would you give future students heading to Arnhem?

Don’t be shy and really try to do a lot of activities so you really get to know the city. Also, Learn Dutch!!! It will really help you
