Kemer is a small coastal tourist city, located on the Mediterranean coast on the edge of the Taurus Mountains and extends over an area of 53 km from the beach. Kemer is about 40 km from the center of Antalya and is connected by a road along the coast. The word "Kemer" in Arabic means "belt" is famous for its tourist resorts, hotels and sandy beaches surrounded by mountains and green hills.

Until the mid-1980s, Kemer was a small, quiet village, but it is now a world-famous tourist city in the Antalya region thanks to the huge investment and resorts built on its beaches.
