What is it like to live in Angers? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Angers is a very nice city not far from Paris (90min by train) people are nice and there are a lot of things to do since there is a lot of students in the city

What is the student lifestyle like in Angers?

It's great there is always a student party on Thursday nights ! You really can enjoy a lot of bars and restaurant and also clubs in the city center. you will meet lots of people (drunk people which lakes it even funnier lol)

How much does it cost to live in Angers?

It's not very expensive you might need 500€ to live by month and I'm counting nights out so you really can enjoy the city without ruining yourself ;)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Angers? Is there any advice you can give?

I don't think it's difficult but it really depends on how much you are ready to spend on a rent. You can find very cool apartments on the city center but you'll need to spend more money ( not that much more but just saying ..)

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great! Of course you have a lot of fast foods around the city, but there are some quite nice Indian or Chinese restaurants ! You can also find a lot of pizza and French cuisine of course (especially wine since it's one of the capitals of wine) so for wine lovers Angers is perfect for you lol

What places would you recommend visiting in Angers?

Visit the castle in the city and the ones around the city there are some funny stories about them to here

Is it good to eat out in Angers? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

As I said you can find a lot of restaurants to eat but I don't have a fave one lol (I love them all!)

Is the nightlife good in Angers? Where is good to go?

The city center is the heart of the city's youth so if you're looking for fun it's the place to be. You'll find you're favorite place depending on what type of parties or nights you like :)

What advice would you give future students headed to Angers?

The city is beautiful by night and very welcoming! So if you're not afraid to live the experiment, enjoy it as much as you can ! You won't regret it :) we are talking about angers here ! Angers city rocks (watch happy from angers on YouTube you'll know what I mean haha)
