Why did you choose to go to Amsterdam, Netherlands?

because of high education level and high culture life

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

one year (10 months)
400e per month- definitely not enough, even for a rent :(

What is the student lifestyle like in Amsterdam?

pleasant.
I'm finding all students really open, lots of possibilities to study or hang out with people and make new friendships.
education on very good level.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Amsterdam to other students?

I have no idea :D

What is the food like?

bad. I recommend cooking by Yourself- I became quite okay cook when I move to Amsterdam

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Amsterdam?

yes, it is very difficult, lots of trouble, lots of tricksters. First advice: don't ever take flat "without registration"- it is usually means it's illegal- and it will get You troubles in future. Second advice- don't pay before You will have keys to flat in Your hand.

How much does it cost to live in Amsterdam?

living on minimum- 700- 800e

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

it grips if You speak German. courses are available but they are paid.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Amsterdam from your city?

wizzair air lines
or "blablacar"

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Amsterdam?

leidseplein

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Amsterdam?

no. food is bad

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

museums: the contemporary one, Rijksmuseum, Anna Frank, Jewish
Concertgebouw ( the best Philharmony in the world) and Bimhuis (jazz)
a lot of galleries and happenings- to check news oline

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Amsterdam in the future?

be prepared You need a lot of money, check few times every bureaucracy thing, buy good lockers to Your bike.
