Why did you choose to go to Amsterdam, Netherlands?

I thought it was a good professional oportunity. I liked the university and the insternship program.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My program was about 5-6 month. Spanish governament only gave me arround 200 euros per month, the same like my spanish colleagues.

What is the student lifestyle like in Amsterdam?

It's almost perfect. You can find relax moments, next to the canal or walking through the parks. Also, you have a lot of party. And if you want, you can find alternative party in squatter houses. there is also a squat village, I don't remember the name...But it's really good experience go there! If you like the art, there also really interesting museums.
The problem is the weather, if you want to do activites outside, prepare 10 pullovers and 3 jackets!!

Sorry... spanish food is really much better!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Amsterdam?

Yes, it was really really difficult. I recomend you start this proces with time. Student flats are a good option.

How much does it cost to live in Amsterdam?

It's expensive city.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Amsterdam from your city?
