Actually not having an scholarship. Want to apply to study a degree or some vocational education still but it’s way too expensive.
What is the student lifestyle like in Amsterdam?
Living costs are high. And transport is free provided so is nice.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Amsterdam to other students?
Totally yes.
What is the food like?
Dutch food is amazing and you can find everything you want from international cuisine.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Amsterdam?
Too much, living in de goorn. Can’t find even a shared room not overpriced.
How much does it cost to live in Amsterdam?
Around 1500€/monthly only in expenses.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
You need to pay a lot to get the courses unless you go to the gementee.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Amsterdam from your city?
Bus and trein. Easy.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Amsterdam?
Yes
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Amsterdam?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Everything is nice to see. But Light. Festival is the best.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Amsterdam in the future?
Save money. You’ll need it.
