What is it like to live in Ahmedabad? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Ahmedabad is well develop as economical and business hub in gujarat. It can consider as a corporate city. There are many manufacturing houses in suburb areas of ahmedabad. On the other hand there is vast amount of choices for food.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ahmedabad?

It is quite easy going lifestyle for students. You can almost reach any place in ahmedabad in almost an hour (if area is remote it may take some more time than hour). So traveling within the city is easy

How much does it cost to live in Ahmedabad?

For normal person you can live with covering all basic expence : 12500-15000 indian rupee (if you rent an apartment than add more 10000-12000)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ahmedabad? Is there any advice you can give?

No generally there is no problem finding accommodation. Prizes may vary on accordance to area but you can find suitable apartment for living. As for my advice, try ro bargain for rent a little(800-1000 inr)

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are way too much options for vegetarian food. But not much choice for non vegetarian food as most people are vegetarians. Although you can find many eggs eatry vagaon in city. And no alcoholic drinks would be available as Gujarat is dry state.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ahmedabad?

There are less visiting places but one should visit kankaria lake.

Is the nightlife good in Ahmedabad? Where is good to go?

Although there is very less clubs and no pubs people here enjoy night life by small gathering at cafes and restaurants.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ahmedabad?

No need to worry as it is India's second safest city. Even by considering women safety. Even girls can hang out late night and nothing will bother you. People are very helpful and law obedient.
