Generally, what is Azerbaijan State University of Languages like?

Azerbaijan University of Languages is the leading state university in Baku capital city of Azerbaijan in terms of training foreign language specialists. A lot of languages are being taught and specialists in different fields are being prepared for the working industry. University has a huge Information Resource Complex which is highly welcomed not only by university staff and students but also outsiden visitors. Free wi- fi hotspots, number of computer rooms, variety of recources in the library makes it even more enjoyable to study at AUL.

What are the facilities like?

The university has 6 faculties: School of Pedagogy, School of Reginal Studies and International Relations, School of Translation,School of Journalism and Philology, School of Further Education.

What are the tutors like?

University staff is highly educated and well trained. They are very welcoming and eager to help students academicaly acculturate.

Are the lessons easy in Azerbaijan State University of Languages?

The classes can be considered easily achieved if one follows the classes on a regular basis and does his/ her best. Students have to collect certain credits to get a pass grade.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

There are some activities organized by the University: song contests, sports activities( university owns a football team, voleyball team), debates, writing competions, olympiads, theather circles, dancing clubs. There is a Student Scientific Center for motivating young researchers.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

The University staff and administration does their best to improve the quality of teaching and learning environment. Through the years a lot has been done and I can say that the University is having its prosperious years right at the moment. Teachers work a lot and participate in seminars to improve for better.
