What is it like to live in Adana? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

there are not so many parties like europe cities. but adana has a good university and as a foreigner you can save your money. because adana is a cheap city. and it has a large lake around the university. and also all the erasmus students live in the university dormitory which is in the campus. finally, if you want to enjoy so much in adana i don't recommended to make an erasmus there. but if you want to learn and improve yourself ( especially agricultural enginering is very good ) on your study, you should choose adana

What is the student lifestyle like in Adana?

there are a lot of cafeteria in the university but near the university you can't find any cafe, bar, etc. if you want to go out you should go to city center but don't worry about it because transportation between city center and university is really good. you can find so many buses which goes to city center.

How much does it cost to live in Adana?

500 - 600 turkish liras is good to live in adana if your accomodation in university dormitory. but if you want to rent a flat alone, you need more .

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Adana? Is there any advice you can give?

it's not difficult to find an accomodation as a foreign student. because most of foreign students live in dormitory which is in campus. and this dormitory belong just foreing students.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

adana is a famous place with its foods. and foods are really cheap in adana. most of students prefer to eat döner and döner is cheaper and more satisfied than burger king or macdonalds menus. my favoruties are adana kebap, döner and börek.

What places would you recommend visiting in Adana?

there is no place important in adana . but there is mersin ( is big city) near adana ( it tooks just 1 hour ). you can go to swimming in mediterranean sea. and also so many ancient place in mersin.

Is it good to eat out in Adana? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

it's cheaper to eat out in adana. for example döner is 4 turkish liras and if you want to drink cola or juice with it you can pay extra max.2 tl. kebaps are more expensive than döner it's about 10 tl.

Is the nightlife good in Adana? Where is good to go?

it's not too bad but also it's not like in istanbul, ankara or izmir. so if you want to a realy good night life you shoudln't prefer to adana

What advice would you give future students heading to Adana?

if you want to enjoy so much in adana i don't recommended to make an erasmus there. but if you want to learn and improve yourself ( especially agricultural enginering is very good ) on your study, you should choose adana
