Accra is the capital city of Ghana, like most capitals it is quite busy though you may find a few quiet spots if you search well. it is not a vacation spot if you want some nice quiet to reflect, if you want to have fun for a vacation though it will serve you well

What is the student lifestyle like in Accra?

easy going mostly, but like any student life it will depend on the student

How much does it cost to live in Accra?

being the capital its a bit more expensive than other places in Ghana

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Accra? Is there any advice you can give?

Nope, but some of it may be on the expensive side though

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

food is awesome, depending on your tastes, you will find local and continental dishes, i like Kenkey, Jollof is great too, but one should definitely try Banku and Tilapia

you can get good food but most Ghanaians dont make a habit of it
Osu, a town in Accra is always good bet.
Places..Mamma Mia, Regal Chinese Restuarant, Asanka Locals

Is the nightlife good in Accra? Where is good to go?

dont have much of a nightlife...but those who enjoy it seem to have fun

What advice would you give future students heading to Accra?

Dont get ripped off, nothing is really as expensive as they make it seem. Find a Ghanaian resident friend asap and enjoy Accra, the right way
