What is it like to live in Accra? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is interesting, a lot of cinemas, shopping malls, big super markets. Weather is always cool, not too hot not cold. A lot of local dishes available everyday like waakye.

What is the student lifestyle like in Accra?

Student lifestyle is easy when you get accommodation within the school or institution. It is stressful when you stay far from school, there is hectic traffic situations on transport to and fro school.

How much does it cost to live in Accra?

Cost of living per day is Gh¢50.00

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Accra? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, is expensive getting accommodation within Accra.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Banku with grilled tilapia, fufu with goat light soup, tz with green okro soup, waakye with were and shito

What places would you recommend visiting in Accra?

Water treatment plant Weija, Accra Mall, West Hills mall.

Yes, at Shoprites and Malls, Accra Mall, West Hills At Aplaku

Is the nightlife good in Accra? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is not good in Accra, a lot of robbery cases at Accra Circle, Medina, Kasoa. These are the populated areas

What advice would you give future students heading to Accra?

Should be hospitable, patient and ready to learn local language, twi.
