What is it like to live in Accra? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is full of fun and entertainment. However the traffic system is very bad and you must set off early to make it on time to an appointment. the people are friendly and there is a lot to eat. expect heat but the fun part is that you get to wear all your summer dresses. Christmas - Easter - New year in Ghana is always fun. nevertheless the other months are still amazing.

entertaining with lots of opportunities and events for socializing

yes.
there is high demand for accommodation. however if you get a trusted agency, everything should be fine.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Amazing with variety and from diff continents and tribes. Africans love their food.

Its always fun especially on weekends Accra doesn't sleep

What advice would you give future students heading to Accra?

be careful and mindful of the people you communicate with.
be polite and you will enjoy your stay.
always greet strangers and feel free to ask for something if you are not sure (location,adress,.....)but always greet 1st.
