Live in Accra;the capital city of Ghana is awesome. Cost living is fairly expensive but it's totally worth it. A lot of beautiful sights,restaurants with good food (both local and continental). The people are very friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a must visit city

What is the student lifestyle like in Accra?

Student lifestyle is fun. Lot of malls to buy stuffs from at affordable prices. Weather is temperately hot.Opportunity to meet new friends from other nations with different cultures.

How much does it cost to live in Accra?

Barely 500ghana cedis a month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Accra? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation in Accra is not difficult to find. However be warned about conmen. See the residence you want and be sure it is empty before you make any payments

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is simply mindblowing. There's a variety of local dishes to choose from. My personal favorite is corn porridge(koko) for breakfast,Fufu and groundnut soup for lunch and waakye for supper.

What places would you recommend visiting in Accra?

Labadi Beach,Silverbird Cinema,Balme Library,The Skybar,Jamestown (during Chalewote Street Art Exhibit),Osu Oxford Street, and many more

Is it good to eat out in Accra? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's good to eat out in Accra. Too many peoole send time cooped up indoors. Some cools spots are Basilisas,Papas Pizza, Legon Bush Canteen,Madina and many more

Is the nightlife good in Accra? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is good but extra care should be taken. Any fun spot is cool for a night outting.

What advice would you give future students heading to Accra?

Live life and make the best of your stay in the awesome city. Fun is absolutely guaranteed
