What is it like to live in Accra? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Accra is the capital of Ghana and is a very busy and interesting city in Ghana. It has a lot of interesting places such as beaches, clubs, pubs, hotels and restaurants as well as many tourists sites. The city is highly recommended to everyone who steps his or her foot in Ghana the first time since the city has all the necessary requirements needed by every individual on earth.
What is the student lifestyle like in Accra?
Students lifestyle in Accra is awesome for every individual irrespective of his or her background since the city has every necessity for survival and interesting places to keep one excited always.
How much does it cost to live in Accra?
$200 a month including feeding, accommodation and transportation. Depending on where one wants to stay. This cost is for students who would like to stay in hostels or rent apartments only.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Accra? Is there any advice you can give?
Not really difficult depending on the kind of accommodation one wants. The hotels are $20 upwards per night and hostels are $10 upwards per night.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
All kinds of foods are sold in most of the restaurants in the city. African dishes, continental dishes among others. We have Chinese restaurants, Turkish restaurants and most of the citizens eat most of the American and European dishes. My favorite food is yam and palava sauce and sometimes jollof rice.

West Legon

Kwanenya
Labadi beach
Marina mall,Accra mall and Achimota mall.
Is it good to eat out in Accra? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
The malls
East Legon has several restaurants around its vicinity.
It is good to eat outside depending on your kind of food.
Is the nightlife good in Accra? Where is good to go?
Yes
Osu has several clubs and bars that are very interesting at night.
East Legon is also very cool at nice to sit and have some chat with friends
What advice would you give future students heading to Accra?
Accra is a very big and interesting place to school and live. Just have to meet the right people then you good to go.
