As a student the cost of living is quite expensive. A student can spend an average of 30-50 cedis a day.

Finding accommodation as a student is not difficult because most of the universities have their hostels on campus and they are plenty of rooms for students. But a student can also get private accommodation like apartments, which can sometimes be difficult. I would advice any student to rather get accommodation on campus because it is much easier.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Accra is really tasty.
There are local dishes which are to die for. Personally, my favourite dish is Banku and Okro soup. Also, another tasty dish is Kenkey and Pepper with fish.It is a local dish and I would encourage students to try it. Also, there is burger and all the other junk food for those who wouldn’t want to try the local dishes but I would advice everyone to try the local dishes in Accra.
