What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Depends on what are you looking for. If you are planning to party then maybe, there are lack of choices to go out. It is not bad but it could be better.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?

Depends which University you are going. For some of them you have to study all day, some of them don't have to study at all, so they party. But I think most of them are in between. Study and party occasionally.

How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?

Higher then in others Croatian cities, but lower than most of European countries.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zagreb? Is there any advice you can give?

Depends what your standards are. But I think not in general.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Croatian food? It's nice. My favorite is Asian food. Croatian food you have to try:

• Pizza on main train station - downstairs then right (surf'n fries).
• Wok'n burger - Asian stuff - main square.
• Vincek - Ilica street (ice cream, cakes).

Is the nightlife good in Zagreb? Where is good to go?

It's ok. I like alternative music so I go to "Tvornica Kulture", "KSET", "Pračka", "Buzz bar", "Žiraffa" (bar, cheap drinks).
