Why did you choose to go to Zagreb, Croatia?

It was somewhere different than the UK to do my dissertation and looks good on my CV

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stayed for 3 months and received just over £1,100 grant. This helped by I also had to add £1,500 of my own money

What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?

N/a was there during summer

Would you recommend the city and the University of Zagreb to other students?

Yes

What is the food like?

Large portions and very meat based in Zagreb

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zagreb?

I paid 400 euros for half of my accommodation a little less for the other half. It was extremely hard to find accommodation but luckily the university helped

How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?

Very cheap

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is very difficult and we were there over summer so we had little support

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zagreb from your city?

Plane

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Zagreb in the future?
