What is it like to live in Budapest? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

You won't forget it, that's for sure! One side you can still experience the "retro" which are some fragments of communism, on the other hand the modernization of the country is amazing. This contrast, lets you get a life like you want. If you're not addicted to hand out money you've a chance. But you can get everything you want or you got used to, famous brands, luxurious.

But better try the Hungarian life style. Maybe first will be strange but this also a Nation with tradition. Many things are the other way round :) and it's just in middle of Europe. The surface anyhow different than in Europe even though you like it or not. I vote for admirable.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Budapest? Is there any advice you can give?

Since the Hungarian language is not so smooth learnable, it's not easy, but don't afraid. Better than in London or in Tokyo... Let the social networks lead you. If you are enduring you will find it. Start with the map, try to stay in the center or just around the Uni. Depends on your lifestyle :) Most of the attractions are in the city center. Start the search on the web! Without photos do not believe anything. Ask for the contract and try to pay by transfer. Not too much chance, but, try it.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Delicious! Favorite dishes are Sajtos-Tejfölös Langos for £1 (scone with sourecream; cheese), Gombapaprkas (noodle with paprika; mushroom), Lecso (choped tomato; paprika a scrambeld eggs) for an other £1, 5. And the Hungarian pancake or the bundas kenyer... If you can go out for breakfast!

What places would you recommend visiting in Budapest?

Ruin pubs, one of the bathes, my favorite one is the Rudas. (Go in the morning and have a nice breakfast in the buffet) and hangover disappeared! In a summer day, any of the public open-beaches, for instance on Margaret island.

Is it good to eat out in Budapest? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Food court at market f. e: Feny street. Bambi buffet (retro! ) best in the morning! Rozmaring restaurant.

Is the nightlife good in Budapest? Where is good to go?

Absolutely! The nightlife is very wild. Anywhere, it's pretty good.

What advice would you give future students headed to Budapest?

Read about Hungary as much as you can! Try to find friend or ask for help any of the blogs.
