Why did you choose to go to Amsterdam, Netherlands?

I think it is one of the best European cities for foreign student and for university student.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It is for about three months and I'm going to receive around 900€

What is the student lifestyle like in Amsterdam?

Due to the fact I'm doing a practical training I will say it is similar to other countries in which they only go out when is weekend and also on Thursdays.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Amsterdam to other students?

I can only talk about the city and I will recommend it to everyone.

What is the food like?

It is similar to the rest of European cities but any food can compare with the Spanish food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Amsterdam?

My tutor already find out an accommodation for me for the first month but by the time I start looking for something it is complicated however there are a lot of opportunities.

How much does it cost to live in Amsterdam?

Depends on where do you want to live and if you are lucky to find a good price for a rent room even though is a little bit expensive. If you just want to live in an apartment by yourself it will cost you two times more than if you shared one.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me Dutch is sort of an impossible language to learn even though the majority of the population speak fluently English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Amsterdam from your city?

I took a flight from Spain.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Amsterdam?

Most of the clubs inside the A10 ring are really good.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Amsterdam?

I didn't go to any restaurant yet I always buy my food in the supermarkets, restaurants are kind of expensive like the rest of the things of this city.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Amsterdam centrum in general it has a lot of places to visit and Dam square is impressive.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Amsterdam in the future?

Try to meet a lot of new people as possible.
