Internship in Czech Republic

I went to Czech Republic to practice an internship of International Trade in the company Fair Trade Centrum.

I shared this experience of two months with a classmate.

Imertion in this country was a bit difficult because of the language. People do not speak English there. Fortunately, my tutor was able to speak English, and also German.

In the every day's life we had to use some basic words in Czech: "Hello / Goodbye / Thank you / Please / Yes / No / Beer (naturally)."

Despite the language barrier, the city of Znojmo is very welcoming. I felt very comfortable in this city.

There are many restaurants offering a variety of dishes, the Kaufland supermarket closes quite late (22h if I remember well), the largest mall is far from the center but is well served by buses, and life is not expensive in this country compared to France!

Weather there is just beautiful and it is very hot ! Too bad that the Czech Republic is not bordered by the sea .. But there is a pool outdoors, Phew !

The main negative point ... it's parties. Nightclubs are not great, the music is not terrible and were the same for my two months (but I admit that hearing "C'est la vie" by Khaled made me smile).

Znojmo is a city well located in the south of Czech Republic. It is quite simple to go to Vienna. In this city there is opportunity to speak English, to meet foreigners in A&T Hostel and therefore to have fun.

I keep very good memories of Znojmo and if the opportunity arises, I will not hesitate to go back to pop !
