Generally, what is York University like?

It is a really nice Campus pretty far from the downtown.

What are the facilities like?

The facilities are ok, the university and campus offer everything you need. However, as it is far from the downtown I would advise to find an accommodation not on campus. It's better living in downtown if you really want to live Toronto.

What are the tutors like?

The tutors are really nice and always available to help you.

Are the lessons easy in York University?

The courses are not that hard in terms of contents. However, the workload is pretty high considering what concretely we do. There's no much theory but more practice. You'll do many homework, assignments and papers instead of studying the books.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

I was attending the York University's MBA school, thus, there were not so many activities for exchange students.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

The quality is pretty good. Most of my professors were executives of big corporations.

Are there any stories you can share?

The best thing you can do as an exchange student at the Schulich School Business (York University) is the Schulympics, which is an event where you spend a weekend in kind of "alcoholic camping" where you will have fun with all of your colleagues drinking and partying a lot.
