Experience in Wellington, New Zealand by Mariana

What is it like to live in Wellington? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Wellington is very small compared to most capital cities. It's security and safeness are overwhelmed by its lack of things to do. If you enjoy outdoor activities, there are some great spots, however the weather can be a downer. It is difficult to meet people if you're a local so I guess it’s even more so as a lone traveler or student unless you're super outgoing. Wellington can also be very expensive unless you know people to split the bill. I have lived in Wellington for around 7 years, I would rate it a 4/10
