International Environmental Media Role

The Verb has just opened up applications for emerging writers to join our COP19 team to cover the climate negotiations in Warsaw, Poland.

The Verb is a news wire service telling the stories that matter, for now, on the environment. In addition to producing unique content that mainstream media are often unable to, we provide a professional development program for our contributors.

Some things about our ideal candidate:
- A student or young professional under the age of thirty, from anywhere in the world
- Interested in environmental issues, international relations or the media / communication spaces, and not necessarily qualified or extremely experienced on all three areas
- Willing to be challenged and challenge others in a professional learning context
- Able to dedicate up to ten hours a week leading into COP19, and a minimum of five hours a week for the three months after
- Be present in Warsaw from at least the 10-23 of November
