Food / feeding at Valley View University (VVU)

The Valley View University (VVU) is part of a worldwide system of more than 100 tertiary institutions operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. That's why it practices vegetarianism (we do not consume meat on campus)

This doesn't mean it is forbidden to eat meat but, It isn't part of the school's menu for students and workers.

Students are fed twice daily and trice daily over the weekend (From Friday to Sunday breakfast). That's because it's believed that Sabbath begins from Friday noon to Saturday sunset.

Meals are very delicious and nutritious. Although being on the school food list is cheap, it is cheaper to buy food off campus. (self-feeding).

It is worth-knowing that it isn't compulsory to be resident on campus and it is not mandatory to be on the school feeding list.

But, it is mandatory that whoever opts to stay on campus must do partial feeding (students are fed only in weekends as explained earlier). As for students who prefer to live off campus, they can choose to eat partially or not.

If you want to attend Vvu, it is a very nice move but I would advise you to have a shared apartment instead of living on campus. However, it is much better if you have the financial resources to stay on campus, but either way, you will learn the same as everyone.

Vvu is an interesting place to be.

I will upload some photos soon.
