Why did you choose to go to Vila Real, Portugal?
I wanted go to Portugal and I it was the only place available.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Vila Real to other students?
It depends... If you enjoy doing nothing in a small city it's ok, but generally there's not much to do and if it's rainy you can't do anything.
What is the food like?
Normal, nothing special.
How much does it cost to live in Vila Real?
Rent was 110-130 euro per month and groceries about 30-35 euro per week.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Vila Real in the future?
Take blankets with you! It can get cold in your flat and you will need a heating machine in the room.
