looking for large room close to University of Applied Arts

I am 22 year old art student studying at Newcastle, coming to Vienna to study at The University of Applied Arts for the summer semester. I would like to find a large room in a house/ apartment , preferably close to the uni. I have never been to Vienna so would hope to share with people who are outgoing and friendly.
