26 year old Hospitality Professional looking for a room in Central Vienna

I am interested in renting out a room/studio/flat from November 15 onwards. From the outset I would like to rent it out for a year but I will most probably stay in Vienna for 2 years.

I am 26 years old, ethnically Indian but I was born and brought up in Barcelona. I have lived, studied, and worked in Barcelona, Conakry, Madrid, London, Loughborough, Stockholm, and Paris. I currently work in the hotel industry as a Compliance Manager of Eastern and Central Europe and I will be travelling very often (about 70% of the time). I need a base in Vienna to spend a couple of days a week. 

My office is based in the Hotel Imperial, close to Karlsplatz. How long would it take me to get there from your house?
