22 year old Spanish/Canadian male student looking for a social appartment to start off my master studies in Vienna

Hi everyone!

I am a 22-year-old Spanish/Canadian male who is about to start his masters studies in the Business and Economics School of Vienna (WU). I am looking for a cheap room in an apartment with friendly, social people who like having weekly dinners, doing sports and, of course, the occasional go out. Though I like having my personal space and time to study or just chill, I am the kind of person that will knock on your door and ask if you´re feeling like lunch or if want to do something later.

About me

I love everything that has to do with the outdoors and I have ample experience with hiking, mountain biking, canoeing or just camping in a lake or a forest. Every couple of summers I try to go to Canada where I usually work as a canoe guide in a summer camp that is locatedin one of the most beautiful and famous parks in the country; Algonquin. A cool outdoors experience was the time I had to call a helicopter to fly out a kid who was describing the symptoms of a concussion after a bad fall.

I am also big into traveling and have seen most of South America, South East Asia, India, New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East. My favourite thing about traveling is definitely the food. I give myself a strong 7/10 cooking skills and I often try to replicatedishes I tasted while abroad. Some of the weirdest things (don't worry I will never cook any of this) I've had out there include the yarsagumbain the Himalayas, Spanish snails or guinea pig in Peru. I often hitchhike while I travel because it puts you in unexpected situations. For example in New Zealand I met a bunch of gang members with ¨explicit¨ tatoos on their face that told me about Kiwi gang life.

When I am chilling I like to watch movies (Any Tarantino, Nolan's Batman trilogy, Giblymovies etc.), shows (Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation, Planet Earth, Attack on Titan etc.) or listen to music (anything from the Wu Tang Clan to the RHCPto Nujabesor Jaco Pastoriusand Paco de Lucía). I also play guitar, ukuleleand a tiny bit of piano. I've never had anyone complain that I am too loud and if someone needs some silence or rather just listen to the speaker I don't mind putting the instrument down.

Although I've never gotten too much into the Gym life, I am very sporty and have played ice hockey, orienteering, lacrosse and hobby soccer. I intend to find a good sport in Vienna as well although I have no idea what that might be still!

What I am looking for
Because it is my first time in Vienna I would like to have flatmates that are social and interact with each other. I like to balance a personal life where I do my stuff with being friends with the people I live. I would love to have activities such as periodic shared dinners, going out to bars, playing some soccer or playing board games with my flatmates.

I am open both to renting a room for a short stay or for a longer period of time depending if it is available (Many of you only rent out during the summer or during your exchange/internship).
