Why did you choose to go to Venlo, Netherlands?
The school has was very high recommended. I was already looking for a school like this and it just felt right.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Because I'm Dutch I recieve money from the government as a loan. The scholarship is about 2000 per year.
What is the student lifestyle like in Venlo?
There are some bars and clubs. You will be able to find something for you.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Venlo to other students?
I would recommend has, I wouldn't recommend fontys.
What is the food like?
The food is the same as the rest in the Netherlands, a lot from other cultures.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Venlo?
It was very easy. It just depends on what your looking for and how much your willing to spend.
How much does it cost to live in Venlo?
From 300 to 400 per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are, in English and in German. You don't need to learn Dutch as everyone speaks English.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Venlo from your city?
By bike or train.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Venlo?
I would recommend eather John Doe, Scala or Loco.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The Hertog Jan Brewery is very nice and also the "jammerdal / jaomerdal".

Hola/Hi, I am looking for Spanish speaking people in Venlo. I'm not very good at this language, but I fall in it. Back in Poland once a week I was going to club de Español, and I will love to do the same in Venlo, to meet some Spanish people to hangout. If you are interestin in meeting it will be great.
