Erasmus student looking for accomodation around Venice

Hi! I'm currently studying history in Belgium. My thesis revolves around Italy during the Roman Empire. Therefore, I wanted to take the opportunity to travel to Italy, learn its language and visit its historical places. I'll be spending the first semester in Venice (from september through february) and I'm looking for accomodation.

I'm very easy-going, social & hard-working. Living in Italy is an experience I very much look for aswell as meeting a lot of new people!

I don't have much wish for a specific accomodation. I'm just hoping to find a single room in a shared flat/house/appartment in Venice, Mestre, Giudecca or on the Lido.

If you have any infos/advices/contacts that you could give me, I'd be extremely grateful!
