I am a professional English language teacher from Tunisia, and I have considerable experience in teaching English for adults across the MENA region. During my career, I acquired skills of language instruction along with a high potential to transfer my knowledge to illiterates, laypersons, and people who seek social inclusion. Enhancing my professional skills is one reason for choosing Ca’ Foscari University as the next destination.

The second reason for my choice is the intercultural atmosphere of Italy. Being the cradle of history, I am proud to be in Italy surrounded by international friends ready to exchange ideas, discuss significant issues, and cascade knowledge about language and its intercultural facets. Planning to become a language scholar specializing in lifelong learning, the cultural atmosphere of Venice helps me improve my research skills and develop new approaches.  In the last three years, I took part in international workshops investigating issues of migrants’ integration. Getting a deep understanding of Italian heritage develops my knowledge of problem analysis. Today, foreign languages play a crucial role in social inclusion, which consequently leads to changing the destiny of marginalized people.
