24 year old girl with a pet looking for accomodation in Mestre

I am a freshly graduated English teacher and I am going to teach English in Mestre from September 2018 until June 2019. I am looking for a room in Mestre, preferably in a central area. I have a small Yorkshire Terrier (4 kg) dog, I might take him with myself.
I am really looking forward to my intenship in Italy, I would like to learn Italian and travel around Italy. I would like to make plenty of friends. I believe that having nice flatmates is a must since the peopple you live with on your Erasmus become your "family" while you are there. I hope to find flatmates that enjoy laughing together, cooking together, hanging out together and making memories together.
