20 year old artist taking 6 month erasmus course

Coming from the Manchester metropoliton University studying illustration with animation. Have been accepted into venice art school and urgently needing place to stay from september to febuary which is a 6 month stay.I dont really know italian and the course i am studying is all spoken in italian so im hoping for a little help on the way. i thought to my self if i dont take this opertunity simply because of a language barrier i would be stupid. I see art as a univeral language and im hoping that my teachers feel the same way. Im clean, caring, and very independent also very helpful with jobs around the flat etc. im hoping to find some one who wont mind being open with my creativity and maybe even helping me out on some creative work this would be me just asking for opinons on the work. I have family in italy but unfortunatley they live in florence so i couldnt really commute every morning.
