how close is the university to the university dorms?

hi to everyone! i will be an erasmus student in the first semester of 2013-2014 in venice and i would like to know how close is the university to the university dorms. Additionally, could anybody tell me how expensive would be to rent my own appartment? The university dorms will cost 270 per month!

Hi! i'm studying in Venice but i don't live there. I don't know where are dorms but the university has a lot of locations throughout the city, so it's depend!
Rent an apartment is quite expensive, between 250 and 300 euros!
