Private apartments: 300€ - 400€ / month if you live alone

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Courses in English and Finnish.
Almost everybody speak English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Varkaus from your city?

From Helsinki: the cheapest way is by bus with the student discount (student card: 8€): 25€ / one way
