It will be a great experience for everybody to spend some time in Vanadzor.The city is quite small, but living in there will be a pleasure for you. The city is situated among the mountains.It has many parks where you can enjoy your time. Water in Vanadzor is very clear and you do not have to buy water. You can drink it straight from the street. There are places called "tsaytaghbyur" from which you can drink cool and clear water.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vanadzor?

There are lots of places for students which are mainly connected with the university. You can take part in many excursions organized for students , and visit some fascinating places all around Armenia.

How much does it cost to live in Vanadzor?

Living in Vanadzor is very easy. There are many shops in here and the food is quite cheap. You can have fun without spending too much money.200-300 dollars may be enough for you to live in Vanadzor.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Vanadzor? Is there any advice you can give?

There are many flats which you can hire. It will cost you nearly 100 dollars to hire a flat in the city centre.But there is also a hostel for students who study in Vanadzor State University.This will cost you less.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Armenian cuisine is very rich .You can try many different dishes. My favourite ones are dolma and kyuvta. Both are just very tasty :))

What places would you recommend visiting in Vanadzor?

You can visit the central park .It is very big and there are many cafes in there. There is also a place called "Ttu joor" where you can drink mineral water from the spring which is splitted out from the ground.

Is it good to eat out in Vanadzor? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are many restaurants and cafes in Vanadzor. My favourite ones are "Jazz" , "Oazis", "Elkani".

Is the nightlife good in Vanadzor? Where is good to go?

Vanadzor is a very quite city. The nightlife isn't that rich . But there is a club where students like to spend their time. It is called "Bellisimo".
