The most beautiful bay in Spain, Cala Ambolo!

27. august 2017

The day after returning from the Peñiscola we came to the decision to spend the day at the beach outside the city of Valencia. A colleague at work whispered a tip to me where the most beautiful nearest spot can be found.

There is a place called Javea with the most beautiful coastlines and bays in all of Spain. After a short researching task we decided upon the bay "La Grenadella".

The bay is located 120km south of Valencia. It can be reached with a car in about 1, 5 hours.

When in Valencia it is definitely worth a visit.

The water is blue-green and clear. The seabed and the coast are stony, but it didn't bother us at all. The nature and the sea - paradise!

The bay is somewhat more sealed-off than the other bays, which is why there are no kiosks there, stand selling items or supervision. Visiting there is at your own risk. Huge cliffs surround the beautiful bay. The bay is rich in contrast. Cliffs, pebble beaches, nature, blue-green sea-colour, unending much sun. Exactly what we were looking for. We brought food and drink with us in proficient quantities. The last Sunday in Spain was a success!
