Everything according to plan!

At work everything was as I had imagined it would be. I am slowly getting used to the work-climate. At first it wasn't that easy communicating with the people since only a handful of my coworkers speak English, but with the use of "google-translator" everything is made easier and at times, in the event of a not very accurate translation, it even provides us with some laughter and good fun. The scope of my work is the same. Remote customer support. Processing Server problems via the terminal. In practice the work is exactly as I had imagined it. The coworker, with whom I work jointly, is a younger man in his twenties and is technically very gifted in his task areas. We spent the entire week processing tickets and I was shown the programs and software used by the company.

My wife and I wanted to tackle the second week's afternoons in a more relaxed style.

After the constant moving around, from the first apartment into a hotel, from the hotel into a second apartment, we were in tatters, worn out. So the goal was: soaking up the sun at the beach, away from all the hustle and bustle, and the hectic pace. Our apartment is approximately 20 minutes on foot or 7 minutes with the tram from the main beach La Malvarrosa away. The beach promenade is very nice with many cafés, bars and restaurants. Palm trees and music. The area is clean, the beach is ca. 3km long and 500m wide. There are free shower-facilities and toilets everywhere. The best time to be at the beach is from ca. 16:30 until 20:00 o'clock. Before that its too warm. Suncream, refreshing drinks, floating-/water-hoops (or donuts), a badminton set made out of wood and a rubber ball are mandatory! :)
