August 31, 2012: El Catedral
I officially have an apartment! I'm on the 9th floor of a building on Corre Gasco Oliag, a great area for students of Valencia's universities. You can see my beautiful view of the city below!
Later today, I had the opportunity to do some exploring of downtown Valencia! I decided to walk towards Plaza la Reina (another square in the city) and I stumbled upon Valencia's cathedral - Catedral de Santa Maria. With nothing else to do, I took the audio tour for a mere 4. 50€. It was a sight to see, and I wasn't even expecting to see it.
Afterwards, I climbed the 206 steps to the top of Micalet Tower for an additional 2€. The views were so worth it all the leg pain and my extreme fear of heights that I endured!
