6. week in Valencia

21. August 2017

The sixth and next-to-last week in Valencia begins. I've settled into life here and feel well. The city surprises my wife and I again and again. Its good fun to go out in the evening and simply stroll through the city. The city is very clean and there are orange trees growing all around. Palm trees divide the wide streets. Well-dressed people sit outside bars and drink wine or sangria. The weather is holding up. At 21 o'clock its still up to 30 degrees Celsius. Everywhere there are monuments, sculptures and lanterns. The streets are well lit. I wouldn't rely again on the "Tourist" city plan though. There are many beautiful sights and attractions, which are not shown on the map.
