The city is known for the Lakshmi Vila's Palace, the residence of Baroda State's Maratha royal family, the Gaekwads, of the Gaekwad Dynasty. It is also the home of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, the largest university in Gujarat.It is new like modern city and people are polite .

yes there is located one of the world best university which is Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and also parul university . student can enjoy there study with entertainment . also people are love to eat outside so there are lots of availability of food outside . so may be student can take the benefit of that also .

yes maybe its little bit difficult to find accommodation at near city center . but now city will grow so there is lots of accommodation available outside the city center .

yes , there is famous one shev sar center . it is near railway station MAHAKALI SEVSAR CENTER . i love also that one .

people love there nightlife . maybe at 12AM all the food center and all are closed there . so it is a great experience there .
