Experience in University of Split, Croatia by Matea
Generally, what is University of Split like?
It is a middle sized University with many good faculties and professors.
What are the facilities like?
Facilities are good; it has a couple of good, new places (called Menza) where you can eat good and cheap. There is one new and big dormitory in campus which is as I heard pretty good. Generally, dormitories are not very expensive comparing to the European prices.
What are the tutors like?
Some of them are old school teachers but other than that I think they are fine. Maybe they should be more approachable.
Are the lessons easy in University of Split?
It varies from faculty to faculty. But I think that they are pretty good.
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
Recently the university has started to be more included in student activities. There are also activities organised by students.
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
Yes.
Are there any stories you can share?
Split is a beautiful, seaside city to live in. It is cozy, Mediterranean and more than 1700 years old. It is known for its historical and unique structures such as the palace of Roman emperor Dioklecijan, Roman square Peristil and many others which attract more and more tourist every year.
