Generally, what is University of Lagos like?
University of Lagos situated in the heart of the Metropolitan city of Lagos is a unique and modern University which offers various accredited degrees, with it’s fairly modern facilities and highly experienced lecturers in a friendly and warm environment of the Mainland in Akoka town.
What are the facilities like?
Facilities of learning in the University of Lagos are built with though old quality buildings but they are constantly in renovation to meet the modern technological and architectural standards of today.
What are the tutors like?
Very disciplined and experienced in their different expertise of studies. Most tutors have the student-tutor relationship in their faculties but of course just like the world in general, you may find a few bad tutors at times in some departments.
Are the lessons easy in University of Lagos?
It depends on the field of study or the course, but no matter how difficult to understand a course of study is, University of Lagos has tutors that are experiencing in the field and can tutor it’s students well enough to understand the course given the period of time of the study (Undergraduate, Master or PHD).
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
Yes they do. They organize symposia, workshops, educational, physical health and sporting activities to mention a few.
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
Yes I would say but like every university, it is subject to improvement.
Are there any stories you can share?
Not any personal story. I just know the city of lagos has a good nightlife and it is very accommodating to students and workers asides the hustling and bustling or daily struggles in the busy city. Thanks
