Generally, what is Eberhard Karl University of Tübingen like?

There are many different faculties, which means that everyone can find his or her type of friends if you search a bit.
It's located in a tiny city close to Stuttgart where half of the population are students who are more or less alternative and many Erasmus students. Therefore are lots of activities, nice cafés, beautiful places outside, a cute old town where you could spend time with friends and enjoy the city.

What are the facilities like?

Some faculties have an excellence status which means that they have intelligent professors, working groups, the equipment is more or less modern (it depends on the faculty). Each faculty has an own library. The faculties are spread all over the city.

What are the tutors like?

Depending on the size of the members of one class, the tutors are quite familiar but for foreingers more or less "german" which means a bit reserved but friendly at the beginning and after a while you will get warm together.

Are the lessons easy in Eberhard Karl University of Tübingen?

It depends on the choice of your studies (in French no, in English yes, in biology normal, in theology normal).

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Yes, parties from each faculty each week. They are nice. Science slam each year, which is cool but you have to register very quickly to get a place. For Erasmus students there are special groups with trips to another cities, parties, cooking, ....

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes. Sometimes you have to work more for less credits in comparison to another faculty/university (in French the performance requirements are really different).

Are there any stories you can share?

In summer you could enjoy the parc (where are lots of people), during the holidays the city is empty because students travel around or leave the city. By bus you can reach every location but by bike you are faster.
