Generally, what is University of Miskolc like?

University of Miskolc is a wonderful University, with a cool and ambient environment and modern equipment and technologies suitable for studies. Additionally, the University has most competent and determined Lecturers with indepth conception of their areas of expertise. Always available to assist the students. The University has a perfect student organization relationship that factors in the interests of students at heart.

What are the facilities like?

The facilities are up to date. The University enjoys an array of modern facilties, which are critical to student studies and stay.

What are the tutors like?

Majority of the tutors are impeccable. They are the best. Understanding and value student opinion. No backstabbing, grudges, or any ill motives between the tutors and the students. Nevertheless, there are some tutors who fail to abide by the teaching plan and never appear but only share notes and reading materials.

Are the lessons easy in University of Miskolc?

Lessons are never easy. For them to be easy, one (student) has to put effort. Otherwise even the easiest lessons will appear difficult if the student is not prepared. So on matters of lessons, it is relative since it is anchored on the student. The tutors try to simplify and explain the lessons as much as possible.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

The University organizes activities such as sports, cultural events, student competitions, among others. However, due to Covid-19, as New students, we haven't experienced much of these activities.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

The quality of teaching is good. However, some of the tutors do not have impeccable grasp of English, hence making their delivery somehow unclear. English language is the major problem.

Are there any stories you can share?

Yes. The welcoming nature of the various support staffs at the University is just overwhelming. They are always ready to help.
Another important aspect is the Rector. The most amazing and understanding rector. The Rector made our (new students) settling so seamless. Despite the epitom of Covid-19, through the leadership of the Rector, the accommodation management provided us with the quarantine rooms for the early days we reported.
Finally, the Tutors are always on time and keep their schedules as planned.
