Awesome town, quality university, very good local beers :D

Decided to write down a quick summary of my Erasmus semester from last year. Had an awesome time and I really enjoyed the time I spent in Bamberg. My only regret is that I went only for one semester, rather than two (so if you have the option go for it).

The town is small but has a lot to offer, there are loads of breweries and also interesting places to visit for non drinkers. It is very easy to travel all over Bavaria, especially if you get a group ticket.There are also some trips organised by the university to Berlin, Salzburg and a few other cool places.

Last but not least there is the opportunity to meet a ton of interesting people from all over the globe and make very good friends.
