Generally, what is University of Nancy 2 like?

In general, this university is quite good. It is not far from the center of Nancy, in fact the town is not so big. It was very pleasant to study there, the university library offers a very good choice of books (and foreign books), it is one of best in Lorraine, besides all the ground is covered by grass, it is very nice to stay with friends.

What are the facilities like?

The buildings are quite old, not very fancy (70's french buildings I think). But it is very easy to locate.

What are the tutors like?

My teachers in sociology and in arabic were very kind, attentive, listening and understanding. I had no problem with them. You could ask many questions, they always answer you.

Are the lessons easy in University of Nancy 2?

It depends on your field of study. But it is not a selective university that is why it's easier to succeed than selective ones.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

There were not so much activities organized by the university itself. Some exhibitions were set up. Students organize some parties, some game group and language imrpovment.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

I think, it depends of the field of studies. I don't know how each field rules but to me I received good courses from interesting teachers.

Are there any stories you can share?

Have fun ! I advice you to come in Nancy, it is a beautiful town and its university is very nice!
