In the Vasterbotten Museum, there is a room focused on the history of the Ski in Sweden. Although not very important in Spain until last decades, skiing have had a major importance in the life of Swedish from very ancient time such as the Stone Age. In this museum you can find hand-made skis, snowshoes for man and horse, prehistoric skis and modern ones. There are also a lot of samples from Västerbotten’s famous skiers such as Ingemar Stenmark, Anja Parson and Per Elofsson.
