I’m sure most of you, Erasmus students, remember the airport chaos of this winter due to the snow storms. Many flights were delayed or cancelled, costing a lot of time and money for those who wanted to go back home since a long time ago to enjoy Christmas with your family. By luck, here in Sweden we didn’t have such problem. Snow is very common here and from October until April, all the airports are well prepared with antifreeze liquid. It is interesting to see how, before taking off, trucks with hosepipes hose all the snow of the plane down in just 10 minutes, so the plane is ready to flight.
